The City of Klamath Falls Police Department is an innovative, progressive and professional police department. The Patrol and Operations Division, is comprised of uniformed patrol officers and is the most visible component of the department. Officers respond to nearly 35,000 calls for service and generates approximately 4,500 written police reports each year.

The City of Klamath Falls Police Department responds to crime using modern and proactive policing tactics. Our department is dedicated to "Policing with Purpose" and develops our policing strategies through Mission Policing through the Analysis of Crime Trends (iMPACT). Each month, members of the department analyze crime data to identify negative trends throughout our community. Department, and team specific missions are established to swiftly mitigate crime trends and enhance livability.

Patrol Unit

The patrol unit consists of 4 patrol teams that include a sergeant and five officers. Patrol teams work 12 hour shifts and provide proactive policing and emergency response 24 hours and day, 7 days a week.
